What services are included in the Lookout Cottage Rental management package?
We market your property, take reservations, check guests in, cover any guest needs during the stay, and clean the home following an occupancy. We also oversee any maintenance issues that need attention. The goal is to provide an effortless and profitable experience to our homeowners.
Are there any minimum or maximum owner usage thresholds?
No. You can use your home as little or as much as you like. On average, our owners use their home 42 nights and receive 110 nights of paid rental income per year.
As an owner, how do I reserve the time I want to use my home?
Very easily! Simply go to the Lookout Cottage Rental website, block out your dates, input your owner code and you are done! At the end of your stay, simply lock the door and depart. We will clean up after your stay and return the home to a 'check-in-ready' status. You will be charged a cleaning fee, however we do reduce rates should the owner choose to help with some cleaning.
What is the management commission collected by Lookout Cottage Rentals?
The Lookout rate is 37%
What are the steps to joining the Cottage Rental Program?
- Sign the Cottage Rental Contract.
- Furnish the home following the guidelines provided by the Cottage Rental Manager.
- Pay a $700 setup fee which includes professional photography of your home and setup in the reservation system.
